The time was October 1945 two months after the ending of WWII. I was so happy when Mom brought home to me a baby brother. It was then that I could say to the Nightville neighborhood with a lot of pride that I had a brother. I prepared myself to help him any way that I could for him to be a success. In my opinion, he is very smart and a quick learner. He was on his own at 4 years old riding a two wheel bike without training wheels. He was on a basketball team in the 5th grade and I watched him play in them years of his life. I am very proud of him and his accomplishments as he grew to adulthood. Thank you for your military service and your service to Bath Iron Works. Both organizations gained a great person when they had you as a team member. You, Jean and your son Artie have gone home to our Lord to be with other predeceased family members who have been waiting for all of us to join them. May God's perpetual light shine upon all of you. You Arthur will be missed, rest in peace my dear brother, I will miss our telephone conversations, greatly.

RIP Arthur. You have earned your wings. You always had a kind word and a smile on your face. When it came to class reunions, one of the first persons to arrive was you. We'll miss you.

Thank you for your service Uncle Art but thanks for being one of my best uncles. I will miss your laugh, the stories and memories of the past and our beloved RED SOX memories where of course you went back further than I could remember. Never told you how much you meant to me, hopefully you knew. Hug Jean, Nana, grandparents and of course Arthur Jr. my bud. I will never forget that boat trip to Booth Bay Harbor with Dad, you, and Artie and the adventure we had getting through HELLS GATE on the Kennebeck River. Rest easy now Uncle you did good in life. I will think of you always with great fondness and love. I wish I could of seen you one last time but it was not meant to be. Until I meet with you again in heaven. God Bless you, our whole family and the friends you met along the way who are now missing you. You are remembered with love by many. P.S. Put in a good word with God to PLEASE HELP OUR RED SOX this season!
