We met Doris and Maurice on one of our daily walks in Sawgrass Lake Park in St. Pete, Fl. We started a conversation and that was the start of a friendship of several years. RIP Doris , we are honored to have have known you.George & Konnie

Thinking of you all at this difficult time. I have such fond memories of my times with Doris and Maurice...memories I will always cherish.

Dear Dr. Whitten and Doris's family, as presumptuous as this my sound, I loved your wife and Mother Maurice and family. Doris and I became close friends after exchanging many personal emails. I so enjoyed our visits at their home in Gorham. A highlight was giving them Red Sox clothing as Doris was such a great fan. A Red Sox jersey for Doris and a Red Sox hat for Maurice. They even sent me a wonderful picture of them wearing their gifts. I shall always remember how very kind Doris, and Maurice, we're to me over the past 10 years. God Bless You Doris and may you RIP...
Most sincerely,
