My dearest Kelton clan!!! & the blue-eyed angel Joanne----.....one of the most gracious ladies I've had the pleasure of working with --IN EVERY WAY!!!!! THe twinkle of those fabulous blue eyes!!! Our many talks about her life with 5 siblings & a wonderful mother who "cooked 3 meals a day" & Walter & the kids in her life & her most loved family!!!!! Her many visitors -- so much laughter & lots of moments of teaching each other! A beautiful generation of kindness. I absolutely fell in love with everything & EVERYONE in that Cape Elizabeth home. HOw lucky was I! & how lucky was she to be in a home she loved so much.

A neighbor for many years that has left my children and I with some very special memories. Kelly, Jason and I will never forget all the wonderful times we had with Joanne. My family feels very blessed to have known her. Our sincere sympathy to her entire family.

Ah, Kay, the latter-day Mary Poppins to little Ronnie and our son, Thomas, during their elementary and middle school years! Thomas would head over to Ronnie's for play dates, and Kay was always impossibly warm, gracious, loving, and joyful. Kay was very much part of the fabric of Thomas's childhood.
It is clear that we were not the only ones basking in the Kay's bright light!

Our condolences to you all now that you have lost Kay's physical presence. Her spirit, we feel sure is alive and well!

my sister Joanne was a very special person and she will be greatly missed by everyone that came to know her.
Joanne was not only my sister but my second mother. Both she and her husband Walter took me under their guidance when my dad died when I was 15 years old. They also gave me away in marriage and took me to the hospital to have first Mark and then Kathy as my husband Peter was overseas in the military.
Joanne has always been my best buddy and I loved her more then these words can express.
God bless my beautiful sister.

In the 50+ years I have known my sister law Joanne I have never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. She always found something good to say or not say anything at all.
