Pat,

I'm sorry we lost touch. I didn't have a chance to thank you and tell you I love you.

You were always there with listening ears, thought provoking questions, solid advice, kindness and that smile.

It didn't matter the issue; real estate, kids in the youth group, family matters, or a broken heart. You always had time, you always made time, you were available.

You helped me manage the pain and taught me how to work through a depression after I lost someone special in my life.

I know at one point you said, "we only get one ride in this life." You didn't want to see me wasting my time being sad.

You taught me silence is good. I miss just being quiet with you.

Please know your absence in my life has been noticed, and you have left your mark on this world.

I love you Friend, rest in peace.

Love,
Alicia

What a great lady!! I worked with her at the Street Program in Portland ME and she inspired me to get my Bachelors degree in Social Work. When she would work her many hours each week I would always check in and she would say Is this your are you taking care of yourself speech? She would then tell me Don makes sure she does. Such a strong and intelligent woman. Please accept my condolences.

Pat Anderson was a profoundly good and decent person. She directed the Adolescent Homeless program in Portland compassionately, focussed on the well-being of these kids who had no place else to go to give them safe harbor. She brought that care to real estate, looking out for the consumer always. She was soft spoken and modest in demonstrating her skills but her care for others resonated loudly like a brass bell. What a decent person. What a loss to the world.
