I lived across the street from Jim on Esley Lane. We were the best of friends as teenagers and spent hours and hours pitching baseballs to each other, listening to Indians baseball games, going to the stock car races many weekends and lift weights in my basement. I would occasionally join him and his parents for a hamburger at the restaurant near the subway and across from Nickels Backery outlet. On weekends we would go to the stock car races. Such a dear friend he was. Rest In Peace, good friend.

"Jimmy"and I were very close friends and close neighbors for 15 years, Jim disappeared in 1966 and I've hunted him ever since, we both left the neighborhood around the same time. I inquired his whereabouts with all our friends and neighbors. I heard that he joined the military, and that ended that search, as of this year, all ive had to fall back on was the internet, and the phone book. I WAS NEVER EXPECTIONG TO DISCOVER HIS WHEREABOUTS WOULD BE BY THE NEWS JOURNAL OBITS. ! now I know where u are jim. rest in peace my friend.

So sorry for your loss. I graduated from Madison High School in Mansfield Ohio with Jim in 1965. I was also in band with him. He was a very nice guy and liked to joke a lot. I am so glad to know he had such a wonderful life. May God bless you.
