Virginia Smith
Marion - Virginia Smith, age 87 of Marion, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at her home. On June 11, 1934, she was born to the late Virgil and Ruth (Amrine) Graham in Marysville, Ohio.
The biggest joy in Virginia's life was spending time with her family and friends. She also loved traveling, crocheting, making flower arrangements, and listening to country music. She loved going to concerts. Above all else, she was proud of her six children and of the five generations that filled her family with so much love.
She is survived by her six children: Vickie (John Pinnick) Moore, Phil (Karen) Anderson, Keith (Jean) Anderson, Karen (Scott) Hughes, Brian Smith, and Brent (Victor) Smith, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Smith, with whom she spent over 50 beautiful years of marriage; her parents Virgil and Ruth, her brother Gene Graham and her mother and father-in-law; Dana and Hazel Smith.
The good news of Virginia's death is she has been trusting in Jesus for a number of years. It is great how God orchestrated her last days as Virginia recently celebrated her 87th birthday surrounded by family and friends. Virginia was able to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends during the last week of her life.
