We are sorry to learn of the passing of Carol, but grateful for her service to our nation with the Peace Corps in Ecuador.

Our Condolences,
The National Peace Corps Association

Carol was such a sweet, prayerful soul. She was always kind and caring. When Carol joined our Wilson teaching staff, she was so interested in doing a good job. I was her principal for four years. She was so considerate of others. Her Catholic heart reached out to everyone. She always talked about her Wisconsin roots and family. I am glad she is no longer suffering. God bless you, Carol. You were an angel on earth. You will be missed.

Bless you, Carol.

I knew Carol as both a brother in the People of Praise and as a fellow teacher in the Bilingual Department of the South Bend Community Schools. Carol had a big and loving heart. She tolerated my goofy and sometimes wild Irish humor and interrupting classes with a song accompanied on my guitar - with grace and patience!

I forgot that Carol had served in Ecuador with the Peace Corps. So we shared something else very special. My beloved Ecuadorian wife and I have spent some of our most wonderful times in that country.

Although it has been several years since I have seen you, Carol, I will always remember you as a loving and kind teacher and sister in the Lord!

Carol was a one of a kind teacher who taught 4th and 3rd grade at Wilson Primary Center. She was one of the first teachers to welcome me as I became the principal of Wilson Primary in 2011. She was always a kind and thoughtful person and will be so missed. Thank you for the lovely painting as it will always serve as a reminder of Carol. I will keep your family lifted in prayer.
