Dr. Dean Emanuel saved my life way back in 1960. He was the kindest and so dedicated Doctor anyone could ever hope for. One night I was in extreme pain and he didn't wait to call for a nurse to bring me a shot as I heard him literally running down the hall and when he returned and gave me the shot he said, "I won't leave you until the shot has taken effect and you are feeling better. He said I had the 1918 flu. I asked him, "how could I have the 1918 flu when no one else anywhere near has it?" He said it was a puzzle but they have tested it 3 times and he said, " Patty, you have the 1918 flu." I had a temperature of 107.9 and was in bed for close to 3 months. God Bless This Wonderful Doctor. He is going to be missed by so many that he has touched with his knowledge and kindness. May his families wonderful memories help soften the sadness they have in their hearts.

Dr. Emanuel was a wonderful man. He saved my life way back in January, 1960. One night when I was in a lot of pain he didn't wait for the nurse to bring me a shot. I could hear him running down the hall and when he came back and gave me the shot he said, :"I'm not leaving until this shot helps you." I had a fever of 107.9 He said that I had the 1918 flu. I asked him how could I have it when no one else any where near has it. He said, "we have tested it 3 times and Patty, You have the 1918 flu." I'll never forget him. God Bless Him.

Lorrie and family. My condolences. Think of You and Dean often. We all were good neighbors. I miss everyone on Cary Bluff. My life in Colorado suits me fine. My thoughts are with you.
