Hi Carl...."I'm sorry about your mom....it's been years since I last saw her...to talk to her....a very long time."

On behalf of Zion Lutheran Church, New Hartford, let me offer our deepest sympathy to your family upon the death of Eleanor. I knew Carl and Carrie Voll while growing up in Zion during the 1950s and 60s. They were wonderful, warm folks whose company I enjoyed (Carl's sense of humor was priceless). I believe that Eleanor was one of my early Sunday school teachers at Old Zion on Fay and Cooper Streets. May God's blessings be with you and your family.

My dear Aunt Eleanor will be sorely missed. She was the last link I had to my Dad's family. For many years we were able to exchange family news and documentation using e-mail on her computer, with help from her son Carl. She so enjoyed hearing about our family here in New Hampshire.
I will always remember her playing the daily noon chimes from Grace Church on Genesee St, Utica, NY,
playing the piano and teaching Sunday School in Zion Lutheran Church, Utica, NY
What a wonderful lady and a dear Aunt.

Dear Karl, I remember fondly your mother, whom I knew well during my time in Marshfield. She was always friendly and I admired her as she helped her husband after he had a stroke. My sincere condolences.
