As a classmate of Bob at OLP and CHS, a terrific all around guy!! Deepest sympathy to the family
Bob Bushman
June 2, 2017
I, as have all his friends, have known Bob to a person we respect and enjoy. His winning personality and smile were to be treasured. He was reliable and did what he said. He was fun to be around.

Bob and I began our education at OLP in first grade and ended our HS schooling in 1961 at Columbus High School. We were neighborhood friends and enjoyed backyard sports in grade school as well as inter-school competition. His friends shared fun times on many social occasions.

Bob was a competitive guard playing for the CHS Don's football team during his high school years. I was the center playing next to him. He often worked with me in our assignments. We also had fun social times during those teenage years.

Friendships continued after Bob returned to Marshfield. He was a brother Elk, and a willing volunteer. The first Monday of the month brought his friends together in comradeship to enjoy steak night.

A friend of his annually gathered HS friends together for the past 24 years. This Father's Day weekend together further cemented our relationships. Bob did much to make the event possible and fun. Again his friendly style and interaction made him a popular fellow.

Many stories could be recounted, but what more can be said than we will miss him dearly.

Bob was a fine man and a true gentleman. Always a smile and a kind word and even demeanor. The world needs more people like Bob. He will be truly missed. Our deepest condolences to the family.

Bob was a gentleman, a fine man. He and I talked about chasing the trucks hauling pea vines as children and enjoyed some chuckles over that.
My husband met him through golfing and enjoyed Bob as well. A great loss.
