Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.

Clarice was born on May 22, 1935 to Louis C. and Matilda (Burt) Grimm at home on a farm in Arpin. She attended school at Powers Bluff, North Hanson and Maple Grove for grades 1-8. She attended Pittsville High School in 1953. Clarice attended Wood County Teacher's College for 2 years and graduated in 1955 with a Teaching License. She went on to get her Bachlors Degree of Science from UWSP for grades K-8. She taught at Woodland Echo in Arpin for 2 years and Wallace School in Pittsville for 1 year. She did in-home daycare when her children were young and returned to teaching when her children were in school all day at St. Lawrence, St. Joachims and St. Mary's where she retired in 1996.

She married Roland E. Bonsack on June 29, 1957 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arpin, WI where she was also baptized and confirmed. They moved to Wisconsin Rapids and joined St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids and later transferred to First Congregational Church when St. John's closed. Roland passed away on March 1, 2005.

Clarice enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, traveling, playing cards and attending family gatherings. She enjoyed having pretty flowers in her yard. Clarice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and teacher.

Clarice is survived by her daughter Patti (David) Urban, son David (Lori) Bonsack, and grandchildren: Nicholas (Beth) Bonsack, Elizabeth and Adam Urban; sister Jermaine Fancher and sister-in-law Gerry Grimm. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roland, brother Robert Grimm and brother-in-law Laverne Francher.

Clarice's family would like to give special thanks to all her in-home helpers who made it possible for her to enjoy her last years at home. A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated staffs at Home Instead, Aspirus Hospice and Arborwood Lodge for all of their help in Mom's final days.
