Sometimes you meet an individual who, from the very first meeting, transmits a powerful light. When I first met Chuck Cover years and years ago when Maggie Mae was a small child, I could tell immediately that this man was a person of noble character. The more I came to know him and learn of his life's journey, the more those feelings cemented. There is great pain in saying an earthly goodbye to people who by their very nature, advocacy, and intention make the world a better place. But the collective tears are signs of one's significance to one's loved ones... and are gently softened in the knowledge that he has relocated to an eternal home of love. Our prayers and love are extended to Jen, Maggie Mae, Joan and the entire Cove Family. ~The Wade Family

Joan, Jennifer and all of Chuck's loved ones, on behalf of the Seacoast Detachment #394, Marine Corps League, please accept our sincere and heartfelt condolences on the loss of Chuck. Chuck was a great American who served his country proudly both in and out of uniform. He served in harm's way and wounded twice in the service of the nation. He served our Detachment for a number of years setting the example for all of us to emulate. Chuck will be sorely missed among our ranks but joins our cherished brethren who have gone before. Please take comfort in knowing that Chuck touched us all in many ways that we will never forget and will try to live up to his example. Take care and God Bless...

Semper Fidelis,

G.A. Corson (Geoff)
Commandant
Seacoast Detachment #394

I send my deepest sympathies to the entire Cove family. Having observed Chuck over the years, it was easy to know that this was a good man. He accomplished much during his lifetime and I know that he now rests in the loving embrace of God the Father. Yes it is true, Our Father is always "looking for a few good men" and in Chuck He found one good Marine. Semper Fidelis, Chuck!
