Mr. Smith was my English teacher for 2019-2020. He was a good guy and an amazing teacher. If there is one thing I learned this year, it would be the life decisions and examples he would give us. He would especially talk about his daughter Abby and all the things he did for her. I give my condolences to the family especially Abby.

My daughter started at Sabis in February and only had a few weeks in class before classes were canceled. In that short amount of time, Mr. Smith helped Bella settle in and get familiar with everything at Sabis. At the car parade on the last day, it was Mr. Smith who called her by name and wished her well.
Sending peace to his family and friends.

I didn't know Mr. Smith for very long, but by far he is one of the best teachers I've had. Mr. Smith was always helpful and cared about us (his students). He helped me settle and find my place at SABIS. He was so kind and welcoming. My condolences to those who where close to him.

I was a co-teacher of Drew's at Putnam. He had a way of grabbing the students' attention and keeping it-no matter what he was teaching. He could relate to them and that's what they appreciated. He was proud of his personal library in the classroom and encouraged the kids to read what interested them. He spoke fondly of his mother, his daughter Abby, and told stories about his dog at the time. Gone too soon, my friend, but you have left your mark and touched many young lives!

Bonnie and family...we are devastated and so sorry to hear the passing of Drew. I remember the day you told me you were pregnant for him. You went to the doctors because you thought you had the flu, nope! You were expecting a baby, we laughed! He was a cute little kid and i remember when I had Tony a year and a half later, Drew was on my kitchen chair holding onto Tony's infant seat with Tony in it...so cute! Gone too soon. Fly high with the angels Drew...love you all, Pat, Bill, Kristie and Tony
