Jeannette (Gosselin) Desjardins, 91, of Chicopee passed away on Tuesday, February 05, 2019 surrounded by her family. Born in Holyoke on January 11, 1928 she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Rena (Chapdelaine) Gosselin. Along with her parents she Jeannette was predeceased by her husband, Lionel P. Desjardins; her son, Ronald L. Desjardins; and her brother, Norman Gosselin. She leaves her daughter, Denise Sinico of Westfield; two sisters, Doris Desmariais and Irene Richards both of Chicopee; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Jeannette was a great friend and neighbor to my parents for many years. She was wonderful to them when they became housebound. During this time she became a good friend to us also. We will miss her.
