Michele A. (Dufault) Rohan, 65, of Enfield, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 6, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center. Raised in Chicopee, she was a graduate of Chicopee High School and went on to earn her Associate degree from Springfield Technical Community College. Michele loved to travel, spend time at their camper in Rhode Island and at the beach, her “Happy Place”. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Michele will be missed by all who knew her, including her husband, Mark Elliott; her children, Marcie Rohan of Enfield, CT, and Eric Rohan and his fiancée Julie St. Laurence of Springfield; her stepdaughters, Amanda Elliott and her partner Francisco Garay of Enfield, CT, and Ashley Podrebartz and her husband James of Manchester, CT; her sister, Denise Roth and her husband Alan of Bent, NM; her brother, David Dufault of Venice, FL; her grandchildren, Liam, Stella, Lennox, Jayden, and Sebastian; her nieces and nephews, Scott, Noelle, Jeanne, Matthew, Jennifer and especially her niece, Ranay, who helped with Michele’s care; and many extended family members and friends. Michele’s family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Baystate Medical Center ICU and Michele’s medical team at Mass General Hospital for their compassionate care. Visiting Hours for Michele will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 9AM to 11AM at Sampson’s Chapel of the Acres, 21 Tinkham Road, Springfield. A Funeral Home Service will follow at 11AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Michele’s memory may be made to the ALS Foundation CT Chapter, 4 Oxford Rd Unit E4, Milford, CT 05460 or the Healey Center at Mass.
