Anne and Family,
Lois and I wish to send to you our sympathy and sincere condolences on the passing of Paud. I met Paud in the early sixties when he was playing football with all of the lads from Hartford and what a footballer he was playing with the Foleys, Sayers, Keenan, Highland, Reilly etc. I had the pleasure of getting to know Paud better when he became an Ironworker and he and I worked together and work we did. As hard as the work was the day went by quickly working with Paud, his playful wit and gregarious personality would always get me smiling and ready for a craic. I called him the Gentle Giant , his heart was as big as the rest of him. A better man you would not meet.
Rest In Peace Brother Paud ✝

Dear Anne, John, Michael, Patrick, Maureen and Katie,
We are so sorry for your loss. Paul was a great guy and yes a very hard working Irishman.
I can remember years ago when my Dad got his hands on a wooden electric pole and wanted to erect it in the backyard on Gold Street so my Mom could have a pulley clothes line. There was a large group of neighborhood men trying to get that pole up and planted in the ground but to no avail. Dad sent one of us kids over to Hamburg St to get Paud. Paud came right over, and flipped that pole up like it was a toothpick! The guys were all amazed and of course enjoyed their liquid reward!
I hope your many fond and happy memories of Paud will fill your broken hearts and help to ease the pain of your loss.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
