O’Neill, Thomas N., 85, passed away peacefully May 19, 2020. Born February 8, 1935 in Holyoke, MA, he was a son to the late Nicholas and Winifred (Lavelle) O’Neill. He was a veteran of the armed forces serving proudly with the US Army. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Holyoke, MA and was a proud graduate of Michigan State University where he played on the baseball team. He was a Mortgage Loan Officer for Westbank until his retirement. Tom was a proud member of the Holyoke Lodge of Elks and was past president of the John Boyle O’Reilly Club. He was an avid Boston sports fan; however, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife Patricia, his sister Mary and his brothers John, Edward and Francis. He is survived by his son Thomas and his wife Sarah; his daughter Mary Welch and her husband John and his son Timothy and his wife MaryJo; grandchildren Jack, Sean, Luke, William, Katherine, Molly and Sarah; and many loving relatives and friends. A private service will be held on Tues. May 26th. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, East Longmeadow has been entrusted with arrangements. I remember when he got that Pony sweatshirt from you guys and he thought it said his name, Tommy. We Campanini's forever called him Uncle Pony after that. Also the grape pie was a good memory.

Sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I knew him when he was at the bank, through my law firm and then as a staff member at the Home Builders Association. He and the late Stan Osowski were always supportive of the local Home Builders through WestBank. He could brighten any conversation with humor and wit.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. He was a really great guy and always fun to be around. I can still see him now standing down by the ocean smoking his cigar. He always had a great story. Gary wagner.
