Amy Lynn DeMaio, 34, passed away December 21, 2020. Born in May of 1986 at Eglin AFB, FL, Amy was a graduate of Salisbury High School and the daughter of Steven and Laura (Dillahey) DeMaio.

Amy, a resident of the Lehigh Valley most her life, loved to travel and explore new places, listening to music and reading. She also enjoyed meeting and spending time with friends and family and was always willing to help anyone. However, the most important people to her were her children, Ivy and Asher. She loved caring for, playing, singing and crafting with them.

In addition to her parents and children, Amy will be lovingly remembered by her companion, Josh Bennick; sisters Sarah and Jessica DeMaio; grandparents Betty Wessner, James and Julie DeMaio and step-grandmother Irene Dillahey; Aunts Phyllis DeMaio and companion Richard Sisko, Susan Paashaus and husband Leroy, Mary Ann Belz and husband Robert and their families. Plans for a memorial will be communicated at a later date. Condolences may be left at www.mcall.com/obits

I hold very fond my memories of Amy from high school. She is a sweet soul, gone way too soon. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Amy, you are a most beutiful spirit. I understand your pain amd you will always live on as we remember your love, kindness, giving, non-judgemental, passionate and artistic ways. Oh, and we can't leave out stubborn too! Always with a smile for anyone even when you hurt inside. You are like one of my own and I miss your hugs. They were the best cuz you gave them without abandon and always with true empathy. I love you, dear angel. Know that your babies are safe and will remember you always. Be at peace now, my daughter...

Uncle Steve and Aunt Laura, Sarah and Jessica too....I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Amy. I know we weren't close but I had just spoke to her a few weeks before. She was a beautiful sweet girl and she is loved and will be missed dearly. I love you all. Xo
