Brenda Lynn Brown of Bethlehem died at her home on April 17th 2021 surrounded by her family. She was wife of Keith W. Brown to whom she was married for 39 years. Growing up in Hellertown, she was the daughter of Henry and Shirley (Zimpfer) Mostek. After graduation at Saucon Valley High School in 1977. Brenda worked as a phlebotomist at St. Luke's Hospital, Lehigh Valley Hospital and Grandview hospital. She also worked as an office manager for Pete Seeger's Sing-Out magazine produced in Bethlehem. Brenda enjoyed many activities, but was passionate about quilting, music and travel. She made well over a hundred quilts and gave them to friends and family. She was an active supporter of Godfrey Daniels and loved volunteering and enjoying the live music with artists and friends. If you visited Godfrey Daniels during the past 25 years, you saw one of Brenda's quilts as the stage backdrop. Brenda enjoyed traveling and took numerous trips with her family. She loved our national parks, the Florida beach and was able to visit all 50 states in her lifetime. Brenda was a loving mother and loving wife. She enjoyed quality time with her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving along with her husband Keith and her mother Shirley are her sons Nathan W. Brown and Colin K. Brown, two grandchildren Dylan and Demi-Leigh Brown, brother Larry Mostek and his wife Mary, sister Deborah Goldman, sister Laurie and her husband Mike Luybli, sister-in-laws Kimm & Julie Mostek and brother-in-laws Kevin Brown and his wife Milou Mackenzie, Doug Brown & Kim Brown along with numerous nieces and nephews. I have known Brenda since our days at St. Luke's when I worked in the ER and she was frequently called for 'labs'. Brenda was always so happy, smiling and a joy to be around. My heart is broken at this tragic news.

Extending Deepest Symapathy and Prayers to Brenda's Family. A very special angel has her wings.

Brenda was the most upbeat, positive person I have ever met. She also had the biggest heart. No matter what was happening in her own life, she always asked how my Mom and Dad were doing and to make sure I told them she asked. I will miss her. Heaven has definitely gained an angel. My deepest condolences to the entire family.

To Keith & the Brown Family:
My deepest sympathy for your loss. It has been many years since I have seen or spoken to Brenda. She was a year behind me in school, but we had many common friends. When I think of Brenda I think of her smile, her energy and her positive outlook which will truly be missed. My condolences again to the Brown family and to everyone who knew and loved her.

Brenda, I'm going to miss you. We worked together at Grand View Hospital. I especially remember the Saturdays in the afternoon when the work usually slowed and we would talk and laugh together. I'll remember the "tea" parties we had at Donna's house. Your smile was so infectious. I'm just at a loss for words. I pray that the Lord will give your family peace and comfort through these difficult days.

Brenda and Keith were our neighbors for many years. We watched their boys grow up and had many happy talks in our backyards or in the middle of the alley that separated our homes. Always laughing and sharing. We loved the Brown family and cannot imagine Brenda being gone. She was a truly wonderful person whose love of life and adventure was impossible to match. All our heartfelt sympathy to Keith, Nathan and Colin and all of Brenda's family and friends. We will never forget her.

I worked with Brenda at GVH lab and she was always smiling and laughing, even when we had our days where everything was going wrong! Her smile is what I remember most because even on the most frustrating of days it would shine through no matter what. She had a giant heart and the most beautiful and thoughtful quilt work. I hope she is at peace, I am so sorry for your loss.
