Dear Mr. and Mrs. Chalker and Chrissy,

I just heard the sad news. It is April 14, 2018 and so I don't even know if these condolences are still actively read.

I have a very vivid memory of Carrie diving off of the LCC diving board and hitting her front teeth. Although there was a lot of blood and most girls her age would show upset, Carrie was so brave.

She and her little sister, Chrissy were always such sweet, friendly happy little girls.

Many years later, I would run into Chrissy frequently while in Stone Harbor but I don't think I have seen Carrie since we were quite young.

I just read the other postings and from them, I can see that Carrie had a strong faith in God. I hope that fact brings you comfort.

Mr. and Mrs. Chalker, I remember both of you as being extremely kind and loving. Both Carrie and Chrissy reflected your light.

Chrissy, I am sure this loss is hitting you especially hard. If I had known before now, I would have gone to the service.
One thing that I have found helpful w/ those I have lost is that I try to always think of them as being immensely happy in heaven. You have always been such a silly, giggly, happy girl and maintaining those beautiful qualities is a great way to honor your sister.

With Love and Prayers,

Jennifer S. Sherman

We are so sorry and saddened to hear about Carrie. She was such a very major part of our life. The memories are vivid and so special! Our daughter Joanne is devastated as their friendship was unique and they were more like sisters then friends. Our deepest condolences and sincere prayers are with you and Chrissy
