Chip was so much more. He was my husband of 46 years. He was a good man. He was a hard working man who provided for us always. He had his own sense of humor that not everyone caught on to right away. No matter how bad anything got he always came out with something off the wall funny to make me stop and smile. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He very much liked his Siberian Huskies. He liked his music, guitars and toy train collection. He was a very strong willed, determined person who never gave up. He had a very rare kind of cancer(through no fault of his own) that could not be cured. 6 years of determination along with chemo allowed him to be with us as long as he was. Right to the end, it was not him that gave up, but his body had become to worn out from the fight it could no longer support him. He would do almost anything for me. Right to the end, he made me smile. I have always loved Chip with all my heart........and I always will. I know he loved me. He will make me smile at the darkest times. And I know he will wait for me, because I asked him to.
