I SHOCKED TO HEAR OF ELEANOR'S PASSING, SHE WAS A WONDERFUL, BEATIFUL PERSON WE HAVE NOT BEEN IN TOUCH FOR SOME TIME BUT I WILL ALWAYS REMEBER HER SMILE ALICE
February 27, 2018
I am saddened by the loss of Eleanor. Her gentle spirit and caring and loving demeanor will always be remembered. We shared so many years together as neighbors on Carteret Road, raising a family of boys. Her love of music was shared with the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church with the Chapel Ringers, of which I was a member. She also tried to teach piano to my son...As our mothers aged, we came to grips with the ravages of dementia. Hopefully her family will remember all the wonderful talent and memories she instilled. My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Eleanor's death. We had reconnected by mail and phone in September and shared memories: we had played bridge together (badly) against our husbands (Joe, an accountant; John, a card shark) while her boy babies slept. Later we lived across Carteret Road from them. She introduced me to her church where she led the bell choir and where we took ballet together. While she was getting her Masters, she introduced me to contemporary music, such as pianists playing the strings of the piano and the wood rather than the keys.
A kind, compassionate person, she listened to my struggles and gave me good advice. We laughed a lot. She was a lovely, sweet gentle person. I will miss her, and I know her family will
desperately.

Joe and Family...Please know that we are thinking of you. Eleanor was so talented, so caring, so sweet...We will all miss her. I fondly remember your family, and all those social events that made Carteret Road a special place to raise a family. How fortunate we were!

You are all in our thoughts and prayers, though we are at a distance.
God Bless...JUDY HAMPSON AND FAMILY
