Members of the Mahanoy City High School Alumni Association extend their sincere sympathies to Emil's family. He is fondly remembered by his classmates (1944) and friends from MCHS.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Emil. I knew Emil for over 20 years as he rode my bus to and from Mahanoy City and Allentown. He was a friend I will miss seeing on my bus. He was always cheery, friendly, and would always have a story to tell me. He would always have a bag of goodies for me when he got off and a smile. He never said anything bad about anyone and you could tell he loved his family by his stories. I told the other drivers of his passing and they send their condolences. I will keep him in my prayers always.
