Rosa da Silva, 84, of Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Bethlehem died Monday, January 22nd at St. Luke's Hospital. Born May 8th, 1933 in Portugal. Rosa was the daughter of the late manuel Domingues Pereira and Ermelinda Fernandes Ramoa. Rosa was the wife of the late Jose da Silva. She was a member of Holy Infancy Church. She retired from August Nielsen Sewing Manufacturing. Rosa enjoyed cooking and sewing. She cared for her companion "Rio" her beloved dog. She is survived by her daughters, Melinda da Silva and husband James Hall of Whitehall and Rose Schenk and husband Michael of Bethlehem, grandchildren, Jennifer Gerlach-Koelbel and her husband Mark, Christine Schenk, Tiffany Gaston and husband Jim, great grandson, Matthew Gaston, brothers, Aurelio Pereira of Port St. Lucie, FL and Augusto Pereira of Portugal and sisters, Sophia Oliveira and Francilina Vieria both of Bethlehem. Services: A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 8:30-10:30 AM followed a service at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. www.connellfuneral.com
