Rudolph "Doc" J. Ellow Jr., 70, passed away at Whitehall Manor January 14, 2018. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Rudolph J. Ellow Sr. and Emma (Winkler) Ellow. Rudolph was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 1956, and proceeded to attend Bethlehem Business School. After graduating from college, he started working at the Morning Call as a copyboy, eventually working up to be an editor in the obituary department until his retirement in 2000. In his free time, Rudolph was known to love traveling around the world, playing pool and Golf. He is remembered as being extremely smart and very wise in investing. Rudolph was preceded in death by his great-nephew, Jonathan. SURVIVORS: Sister, Loretta M. wife of William R. Rohrbach; two nephews: Robert J. I was so sorry to hear about Rudy's ( Skeezik's) passing. I have many fond memories of being childhood playmates ever since Sacred Heart grade school, spending countless hours with him at his home. Condolences to Loretta and family as well as Linda ,his cousin. Rudy was a great guy.

Dennis and I are so sorry about Doc's passing. We did get to visit recently. And we are glad that we got to see him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this difficult time.
