Steven G. Smith, 61, of Northampton, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 in Port Richey, FL. He was the husband of Susan (Kerbacher) Smith with whom he shared 37 years of marriage. Born December 2, 1956 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Herbert and Nancy L. (Lange) Smith. Steven graduated from Northampton Area High School in 1974. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from East Stroudsburg University. Steven was a self-employed carpenter. He was an avid Phillies fan and participated in Phillies Phantasy Baseball Camp. Steven and wife, Susan, loved boating and spending time in Florida at their vacation home. Survivors: wife, Susan; sister, Susan Young; brother, Mark and wife, Lisa; nephews, Kyle and Colin; niece, Alyssa; mother-in-law, Nancy Kerbacher; and sister-in-law, Janet Kerbacher. Services: A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 11:00 a.m. in Zion's Stone United Church of Christ, 51 Church Rd., Northampton. Online condolences may be submitted at www.reichelfuneralhome.com. Contributions: Memorials may be presented to National Kidney Foundation - Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.

I was so pleased we were able to talk yesterday and remember how Steve wanted nothing more than to make you happy in our previous home in Willow Green. It was a God-send that you found us.
We hope you can find peace in the weeks to come - it is what you deserve.
