Dear Cousins, Patti, Carol, Bern and Jim
Memories of your mother go back to when Bernie first visited our family in Minersville with his girlfriend Helen. She was so kind, considerate and fun and after leaving my sister, "M.L." said she hopes Bernie marries her. You children had wonderful parents. Your mother was a great lady and leave all with marvelous memories.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Bern, Carol, Jimmy and Patty:

Our heartfelt condolences as you grieve the passing of your mother. What a beautiful person! She leaves the legacy of a wonderful family and the indelible imprint of her loveing and caring presence on her family, friends, church, and the community she loved and served over a lifetime. She sang pretty good too - like a bird on the wing. Actually, she had a great voice and I would imagine that she's already joined the celestial choir - 1st alto!

Helen will be greatly missed!

Our families have shared alot over the years, much of which Helen and Bern and my own parents presided over. God bless em. I hope they know that we didn't mean them so much torment. But the memories are great and the stories they leave with us are treasures for a lifetime. Truly we have been blessed to have been given such wonderful people as parents.

We pray that God grant each of you peace that is deeper than your sorrow and faith's assurance that your beloved mother is at home in the peace of God's presence.

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of saddness and loss.

Love,
Bob, Doris, and Nate Shearn
