Dear Mari, my sincere condolences to you and the family. Herb was all those things and more. He was a good good friend to me for the nineteen years I worked for him and Daytimes.

To Herb's family:
Today there is great sadness as Herb has passed on to be with Our Heavenly Father. There is an old Cherokee Indian saying: "When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice." That is the life that Herb lived. I have thought often of the many good times we had together and I always will.

Dear Mari and family, My sincere sympathy comes your way in the passing of Herb. Remembering the smiling face and pleasant personality as he walked thru the bindery at Daytimers, where i worked for 25 years also. Thoughts and prayers, Marlene Shoemaker
