Those of us who were fortunate enough to share a stage with Lois welcomed and were nourished by the full spectrum of her talent and personality, but much more than any of that, her humanity and abiding love. Lois defined the joy of performing but it was the unflagging support for others that distinguished her. I remember authoring a play for Pennsylvania Playhouse - had to be at least 25 years ago - and created a character specifically for Lois. She tore it up singing Sophie Tucker's 'Some of These Days' wearing a long white dress shirt and bare (stockinged) legs. Brought the house down! Seeing her perform 'Broadway Baby' was an experience not to be missed. This was one dazzling lady and, along with literally thousands of others, Andrea and I shall remember her as a beautiful human being - a true mensch. Higher praise than that I am not capable of.

To the Miller family,
Whenever getting to the church I was raised in, it was always great to see Lois. My mother, Marilyn Smith and her were friends as she was to everyone! She would come with my mom and visit me at my work for lunch which was always a delight. Church talent nights were great to go to and Lois always gave a fun great performance. They now are in heaven together enjoying the heavenly choir.
Thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time and always remember her joy in life and carry it on.

We will lovingly remember Lois, having shared the stage with her several times. Perform now with the angels, friend.
