Kerry: I wish I could be there with you this weekend. I know this will be hard for you and everyone she has left behind. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Spent many years with Pat serving on the Board at the Olivet Boys & Girls Club. After she left the Board she kept coming back to do whatever volunteer work needed to be done. A lovely lady dedicated to help the kids in Reading!

Oh, Kerry - my heart goes out to you. Your mom had included a brief note in her Christmas card to me this year, and sounded positive and upbeat: so this news took my breath away. Your mom and dad were both very special people to me - and so many others. Watching them raise you, seeing their love and pride as you grew up, smart and strong, was so gratifying. Cherish those memories, Kerry, of that love and pride, of their love for each other, their intelligence, wit, compassion, and faith. I can only hope that these will help sustain you in your grief and beyond. Roberta

Kerry, I was shocked to hear...I was hoping she would be able to pull out of this. We met in junior high and had many great trips together. So sorry for you and your family. It is hard to lose your mother no matter how old you are.
