Helen K. Ehrig, 102, formerly of the B'nai B'rith Apartments, Allentown, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in the Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was born in Freeland, PA Luzerne County a daughter of the late Walter and Alexandra (Zelasko) Kochanowski. Helen was an assistant cashier at McCrory's, in account receivables for the Modern Transfer Company and was an office clerk at City Blue Print Co., retiring in 1981. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown. Helen volunteered at the Allentown Ecumenical Food Bank for 18 years. Survivors: Step-son, George S. and his wife Carol Ehrig of Macungie and six step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Sandra A. Keys and her sister, Belle Cusick. Services: A graveside service will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth at a later day. Arrangement by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. www.stephensfuneral.com.
