Stephen J. Chaszar, 67, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra J. (Hageter) Chaszar. They celebrated their 44th anniversary last month. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Stephen F. and Helen (Bartik) Chaszar. A graduate of Muhlenberg Collage, Steve was employed by UPS for many years. He also served in the U.S. National Guard. Steve was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. A member of the Springtown Rod and Gun Club, he loved the beach, fishing and photography. He was the ultimate family man who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Luchas. Surviving are his wife, Sandra; sons, Mark of Bethlehem, Brian of Montana and Scott of Easton; a sister, Linda Boliver in Mass. and grandson, Luchas Strauss. Family and friends may call Wednesday, January 24, from 11:30 until 1 p.m. in Concordia Lutheran Church, 1240 E. Fourth Street, Bethlehem. The service will begin at 1 p.m. Arrangements by the Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem. Contributions may be sent to the church mailing address, 3285 Pheasant Road, Northampton, PA 18067. Every time I walk by Steve and Sandy's house, I think of him and how he was always smiling and had something nice to say to and about everyone. He is missed every day!

I just found out today about Steve's passing.IfI would have known sooner I would have come to the service at the church. Afterall Steve and I grew up together. I am so saddened by the news.
