Robert W. Heins, 77, of Bethlehem Twp, passed away April 19, 2021 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Barbara H. (Hardner) Borrelli Heins. Robert was a self-employed licensed contractor and he worked as a sonic inspector at the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 31 years. Born in New Hyde Park, NY, he was the son of the late William B. Heins, Sr. and the late Matilda (Roziger) Heins. He was a graduate of Penn State University. Bob was U.S. Navy Veteran and was a member of the Slatington American Legion. He was a member and volunteered his time and talent at St. John's U.C.C., Bethlehem Twp. Bob loved his children and grandchildren and he enjoyed camping at Lake Adventure Community in Milford, PA.

Survivors: Wife, Sons: Drew C. Borrelli and his wife Maureen, Karl H. Borrelli, Jr., Jason S. Borrelli and his wife Julie, Twin Brother: William B. Heins, Jr. and Grandchildren: Jessica, Jakob, Payton, Brayden, Chase and Noah. He was preceded in death by a Son: Vincent M. Borrelli.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, at 10 A.M. in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. A viewing will be held on Thursday, from 6:30 P.M. to 8 P.M. and on Friday, from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. in the funeral home. Condolences may be made offered at:

I worked with Bobby for many years at the Bethlehem Steel Company,
He was a great guy and a hard worker. He always made the job so much easier than it was. Must have been that laugh and smile he always had.

Barbara and Family,
So sorry for your loss. Bob was a Godsend to so many people. He cared for our homes for many years and became like family. Always helped out in emergencies when others put their phones on voice mail. He went the extra mile for everyone. God Bless.
