97 years of age and longtime resident of Whitehall, entered his final resting place in Heaven on January 6, 2021. Sam was the husband of Naida Charles Abraham, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Minnie (Shahda) Abraham. Sam attended Allentown High School, and was a proud veteran of the Greatest Generation, who served in the US Army during WWII. An active, dedicated, life-long member of St. George Orthodox Church, he served on many Boards. Sam's greatest pleasure was his family and he always put his family first. Being employed by Lehigh Structural Steel enabled him to put his two children through college. After he retired, he became an avid golfer and his children always enjoyed a round of golf with their Dad. He was a proud member of the Hole In One Club. Sam was treasured by his children, Joe and his wife Heidi, and Tina and her husband Mark Dalessandro. Sam was the very best "Giddu" to his pride and joy, his Grandson Sam. Services and interment will be private.

Naida, Joe and Tina - our sincere condolences on the passing of Sam. He was one of the "rocks" of the old neighborhood. Growing up he always kept an eye on us and visited often with my mom and dad. I remember the card games, holiday visits (particularly Christmas time), picnics and summer evenings spent on the patio. Of course we always had something good to eat thanks to Naida. I will fondly remember his smile and laugh and how he always took time to listen to us and ask about our activities, school, etc. You all are in our thoughts and prayers, God Bless Sammy. We Love you all. Mike and Priscilla Gigler.

My sincere condolences to aunt Naida, Joe and Heidi, Tina and Mark, their children, and all the Abrahams ad their friends. Uncle Sam was a mainstay in my life for all of it. He always had a great smile and personality. I had the pleasure of stopping by the his home a few years ago when I saw him sitting out back in a lawn chair. We talked for awhile and aunt Naida brought out kibbee...it was a great day all around. Uncle Sam will be sorely missed, but his legacy with aunt Naida lives on with Joe and Tina! We were blessed to have him his many years. God bless you all.

My condolences to Aunt Naida, Joey, Heidi, Tina, Mark, and Sammy on the loss of Uncle Sam. I was his partner in church, sitting together for many years. Every Sunday he would reach in his pocket and slip me a roll of Lifesavers. He will be missed...but remembered fondly by so many. May God Rest Your Soul Uncle Sam...Memory Eternal
