I think I expressed my feelings best with what I had previously said. All I can add to that is I am now sixty-three years old. I got to know the Liggitt family as a teenager. They have held a special place in my heart all these years. I have had some health problems the past few years and I don't know how long I will be on this earth. I do remember hearing a pastor once say " The older you get the more you realize you have more friends up there than you do down here." How true and one day I will see all those friends Lloyd and Jean included. What a beautiful day that will be.

As a young person I went to Bethany Wesylyn often. One of the first families I got to know were the Liggitts. Jean and Lloyd made a real impression on me and I came to real admire them and their family. Every church has to have people who are the glue that keeps the church together and they were that glue. I have some very special memories of them and I look forward to seeing them again when my days on this earth are done. My deepest sympathy to the whole Liggitt family.

As a youngster I attended Bethany church and I remember Lloyd always being happy and friendly. I had many good times with his family including swimming in his pond. Most importantly he knew Jesus as his savior and left a wonderful legacy behind for his children and grandchildren. I'm sad to see him go but he is with the Heavenly Father. I want to encourage his children to carry on the legacy of living for Christ and one day be united with him in heaven.

To a man that was like a second father to me. Taught me how to hunt pheasant and rabbit and kept me in line with love and clear direction. Many decisions that I made in my life were a direct result of the things that Lloyd taught me. I only regret that I did not get to see him before he passed. He was a great man and a great American.
You will be missed.

To the entire family, You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I've known Lloyd my entire life; He was always joking around & always had a smile on his face. I'll miss his laugh. As a teenager,I was always afraid he would catch me doing something wrong. As an adult,he would try & encourage me when I was going thru some rough times. I'm glad his suffering is over, but I'll miss him. Always remember the good times & keep them close to your heart & he'll always be with you. You all have my deepest sympathy. Love & prayers!
