Ed,

I was sorry to hear about the passing of your father. He was an interesting person and I always enjoyed speaking with him.

I am so sorry to hear of Art's passing. I loved both Art and Jo, and have many wonderful memories of babysitting Joanne and Ed. Special people to the end...may you find blessings and peace. With fondness, Elaine Johnson Arnold

Arthur was a man's man. World war 2 and Korean War vet, guarding our skies scouting the enemy,,
The last of his outfit to make it to heaven.
Spoke highly of Steinbeck and poured his whole biography into my knowledge bank, from Nobel prize to third wife, very awesome and made it easy to to absorb.
Was a beloved teacher, and talented woodcarver.
Shared many stories from early America, nothing any books could provide.
Loved Science and you could feel the passion Arthur carried for passing knowledge when he would introduce something new to me. I showed him a video of a wave pendulum toy (on YouTube) and he got a real kick out of it. Arthur was actually breaking down the way it works almost word for word what the Scientist was explaining.
Real sharp tool,,always remember the hours of conversations, relived memories, wisdom, and knowledge you blessed me with.
was always a joy to be in your presence.
