I always loved going to the Sinclairs house where I knew Marians mom would be waiting for us. She was always happy to see me and made you feel so welcomed. She was soft spoken, kind, and encouraging. It was a interesting dynamic as Eve, Marian and Krissy all grew up with such moxie and confidence and I know alot of that came from her. Encouraging them to be strong and bold we should all be so lucky to have a Mother like that. Charles I was always a little affraid of him he was more gruff but I knew it was just a front. He always lit up if you wanted to talk about his yellow Jensen Healey sports car!
One of the strongest memories I have is when I was staying with the Sinclair's and my seventeen year old cousin Steveie who was very ill and he passed away while I was there. Ill never forget the tenderness from her for she was the one who had to tell me my own mother could not I guess.
It wasn't shocking news as I knew he was struggling but Carolyn was instrumental in being there for me and getting me through the shock and sadness of it all.
I hope I told her so when she was alive.
Those Sinclair girls were a fortunate bunch!!

Sincerely,
Mary Gravelle Perez
