So sorry Jeri, Doug was a very kind man. I remember all the square dancing and motor home trips. Such fun. You both always opened your home to all. Doug made my kitchen cabinets and they are still beautiful. Stay well.

Dear Jeri I am so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. He was always such a nice person and a pleasure to be around and to dance with. My deep sympathy for you and your family. Love, Shirley Heffner

Dear Jeri
So sorry to have heard about Doug's passing. He was a good man, always cheerful and full of stories. Some of these stories we all have heard more than once. But that is true of most of us, we better tell my friends this story it is so good. If they have heard it, they can hear it again. I never seen Doug angry, or with a scowl on his face.
I am sorry I won't be able to attend his service's tomorrow morning 12-8-17. Friday mornings I pick up donated food from Trader Joe's and take it to Saint Julie's on Cottle Road. The other two people who help me aren't available. One was in the hospital and is now at home recovering from pneumonia, and the other one has a meeting she says she must attend, that leaves me. We have to be reliable or they would get other people for the pick up.
