Hi Dad,
I can't believe it's been 13 years since you passed. I feel your spirit daily and I constantly remind Connor and Zack about all the work you did to bring peace and justice to those who needed it most. I have to be honest and share that right now our country is in the worst shape ever, when it comes to racism, sexism, gender rights, and basically everything you stood up for with your Human Relations work. Mom works diligently to keep your message of peace and equity alive and through her strength, all of us children persevere. I love you and I want to have faith that your work continues through each one of us, who was left behind. I still remember a plaque that I gave you that read, "If you were not my father, I would choose to have you as a friend." I meant it and I always will. Big hugs, and please give Mona, Jess and Necy a big hug from their sister!
Dianne
