Reading of Kathy' passing saddened me. The Williams family was a part of my life growing up. Pat and my mother, Ruth Green, played bridge and went to bingo together. Got to know Kathy better the summer of 67. She had graduated but needed to make up some credits, I was taking a summer English class and she sat next to me. She was always upbeat and had her own perspective to add to the discussions.

Extending my deepest sympathy for you in your loss. And hoping that comfort and peace may come to you.

I was so saddened to hear of your passing. You were always such a bright spot, full of life and light, playfully comparing who had the shortest hair. I'm happy that I took a moment for a hug last time I saw you at the COE.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I worked with Kathy for several years at the County Office of Education and we had many great conversations about educational research and especially about our SF Giants. She was such a fun and thoughtful person to be around. My condolences go out to her family and friends.

My dear friend and former colleague is gone. I'm in shock, Kathy. I didn't learn of your passing until yesterday. I'm so grateful that we had our wonderful lunch together to catch up and share our life's plans in August. You looked great - quite chic with your short, silver spiked hair. We laughed a lot and shared confidences with one another, as we always do. I'm going to miss you terribly. I'm so disappointed that I'll be missing your Memorial; we'll be out of state. Blessings, dear friend, and to all your family. Love, Diana
