Leo Berk was a unique friend and a Renaissance man....a man of many talents across a broad field of passionate interests. Most of all, he was a great conversationalist. I could talk to him for hours, about everything, no matter the subject. We fished together. He was a kind, gentle and intelligent man and I will never forget him. Most sincere condolences to Marty and her family.

Norma and Ron Hare send to Marty and all of Leo's family our prayers and condolences with the passing of our friend and classmate at UCSF.
A good friend, a great father and a wonderful husband. ( and fisherman). And an overall a "good man".
We will miss him.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Berk. He was a kind and generous man. I have many happy memories of him from the seventies, back when my family and his spent lots of time together. Deepest sympathy to Karen, Bill and their mom.
