Dear Pastorini family, I am deeply sorry to read that Butch, aka: Mr. Pastorini has passed away. He was my math teacher at Buchser High School. I had moved from Berlin as an Army Brat. I felt alienated and out of place. He opened his heart and made me feel welcome. He invited me for dinner at your home and you all embraced me as family. He helped me with college applications and helped me with my acceptance to Santa Clara University. He had one of the warmest and biggest hearts, was an excellent teacher and his sense of humor was such a gift. I will never forget him. Again, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you comfort and grace. He is truly one of the kindest people I have known and I will hold him close to my heart and memories forever. God bless you.

Susan and family, I'm so sad and sorry for the deep pain you're experiencing with Butch going to be with our Lord. I only got to know him for a short period of time before falling ill and having to leave his home. But I truly enjoyed him, his stories of teaching, football and flying. He was funny and stubborn, but with a warm heart. I do miss him, and know you all terribly miss him, he will always be in your heart. God Bless you, Michelle Bissell

Dear Pastorini FamilyVery sorry to hear the news of Butch's passing. He was a very positive influence in my life. I had the pleasure of being coached by him at SCU. He was a tough, fair, caring, fun- loving coach and person. I appreciate all that he taught me and remember fondly the experience of playing for him.I know that he is at peace now having lived a very full and meaningful life. I am sorry that I am unable to attend his services, but i will be thinking of him.Best regards,Steve DeMaestri
