Monta Vista High School varsity basketball player, 40 wins, 8 losses, 1971-1973 seasons, Coach's "Let me be brief" speeches were educational/rewarding, teamwork, defense, low turnovers, winning attitude, many sprints touching the court lines, running the plays correctly, many fun memories, great coach, great man.

I had the privilege of playing under Coach Snyder at Homestead High School from 1962-1964. I had never played basketball before transferring to Homestead. Coach instilled a love for the game which continues to this day! In 2012 several of us from that team invaded his house in San Jose and escorted coach to lunch. He was 88 and remembered us! He was a coach and a mentor...a life mentor! He inspired many! A great human being!
