Dear Rosalie and Al's children. My heart is with you at this time of grief and loss. She and your Dad were wonderful friends who stood in at our wedding many years ago in Carmel, California. We saw them once again on a visit back to LeMars after Al had retired. I will always remember our wedding and their graciousness in helping us with the photographs and all else. I tried to send flowers and a message, however, I received a notice today that the flowers and message were not able to be delivered. My husband, Hans, has passed this year also. It takes such a long time to get over the sorrow. Know that you will remember your Mom with much love and affection. I remember playing poker with her for toothpicks when she was pregnant with David. Time passes much too fast. My love and affection to all of you. Mary K. Wolf-Kain-Vancura

Rosalie and Al are my godparents. Though they're gone from this plane, they will always live with me in my heart and thoughts. As long as I am here they will be with me.

Rosalie is my second mom, always ready with advice. "Don't back down from bullies, especially if that bully is Dino or Chris. Stand up to them. Sock them in the nose and they'll leave you alone." Unfortunately it had been years since I'd been able to visit with Rosalie. Mom and dad would always update me on how she was doing and give her my love when they visited with her. The news of her passing hit me like a ton of bricks, my wife thought I was dying I was crying so hard. The tears have returned and as I sit here crying and typing, I hear Rosalie whispering in my ear "Don't cry for me Michael. I'm in a better place now and I'll always be watching over you."

I love you Aunt Rosy and I'll never forget you. Thank you for being the best godmother a guy could ask for.

When I was a very young man, I took dance lessons from Rosalie and she was a fantastic dancer. I remember her father and mother and always knew she would be a success. Sorry to hear of her passing.
