I am so sorry for my Uncle's passing and for the entire family
November 17, 2017
I am saddened that I was unable to come and see my Great Uncle Stephen one last time. I have so many great memories of him. I always have one memory of him and his Red GMC StepSide and every time we would see the family at Easter or Thanksgiving, he would always tease me about possibly selling it one day, just not that day. I love you Uncle Stephen. You'll always been in my heart and memories.

Steve was my dad's best friend -- one of the phone company guys and then the Camp Mather core group. We spent one week every summer together with many other families, but Steve and my dad were "besties" (before that was a term). Apart from Camp Mather, our two families went to the "Canyons" together when I was very young and that trip cemented our connection. Marilyn was my "savior" when we stayed at a motel that was infested with big ants and I was very afraid. But our parents also took an RV trip to Jackson Hole and beyond without us kids that must have been a wonderful time. Our dads were so funny, silly, strict with us but always loving and so supportive. Sorry - back to Steve. He was a rock and rather than friends, he and the Peters' gang is family. Ingrained in our lives forever and we're the better for it!! Love forever!

We have so many fond memories of Steve (and Marilyn) - when we moved to the area and joined St. Martin's - they welcomed us with open arms and were like grandparents to us 3 boys.
Love and prayers,
Lidia and Louis (Mario, Miguel and Stefan)
