I'll never forget when Vaughn introduced us, just this giant fellow athlete and to what was to become my friend. Getting to lift with you and Brandon when I did was always fun. Made me a better athlete. I think about you all the time when I watch Beach in south side pier Huntington. I'll never forget burnt butter pasta oh my god was it good, one of my best memories with you was that dinner and just eating way too much. I remember just kicking it in the hills eating popsicles when you first came to Whittier when you wanted to get away or when we missed our families being away for school. Still a little bitter you were taken by the universe from us all. I miss you a lot big girl, I still keep a piece of your attitude in my back pocket when I play still.

Alyssa, I was so shocked to hear the horrible news yesterday from Paige. It is horrible how you left too early!! I am still in shock over this news. Even though I was one of your many volleyball coaches, you were one of my players that really stuck out And one I can never and will never forget you. I will forever miss you.

Alyssa oh how we all miss you. You have done so much for our family, Cullen, Brendan, Kathleen and me (David), over the years and we love you so very much. You have helped our boys grow up and you were a very dear friend of my wife and a friend of mine. Over the years you not only baby sat our boys, Cullen and Brendan, but you have played with them, listened to them, taught them, and you have helped them grow into the young boys they are today. Your wonderful painting on Brendan's bedroom walls has and will always be treasured. You helped Kathleen paint many areas inside our home and she became very close to you. Kathleen loved you like a sister. You helped us whenever you could, you were there. You talked to me about many things, including some of your dreams and you also listened to me when I needed to talk. You were like part of our family and the boys loved it whenever you came over.

Alyssa you have touch thousands of people in this world and the four of us our so very lucky to be in that group. You are so very beautiful and you always have beautiful smile on your face. You were taken way too early from this world.

Our thoughts and prayers are constantly with Alyssa and her family, Gus, Sandy, Nicole, and Dina (and Roxie). We think about each of you every day and you are in our hearts. We all have such wonderful memories of you Alyssa and how you helped changed our lives, we love you Alyssa.

I still can't believe she's gone. I had to do a double-take on what my former track and field coach posted online that she passed away. Alyssa was my teammate in track and field when I was still back at De Anza.I have transferred already but haven't forgotten the time I represented D.A. She was an all-around great person,an exceptional athlete who was an awesome teammate who had a seemingly endless potential with what she would have done with her life. I am grateful that I was able to get to know her and be her friend and teammate

Alyssa was such a star and was taken away far too soon from this world. Many may know her as the star athlete she came to be, but I also had the pleasure of growing up with her and knowing her as an artist, a gamer, a jokester and pranker. She had such a positive energy that never failed to rub off. Alyssa will be greatly missed and my heart goes out to her family.

Alyssa and I were on the January European Exposure tour together. She and I roomed together in Maribor, Slovenia and again in Prague. Her personality was easy to get along with, very laid back, easy going and can always find a way to laugh in any situation. After games or practices she was always there to talk to, get my frustrations out and vice versa. She fell in love with these chocolate croissants, ate them almost for every breakfast. She said she was surprised she didn't gain any weight from how often she ate them.

I remember we were playing in Prague, we were warming up together and she had mentioned how she hadn't been playing well lately and was disappointed she hadn't shown the coaches her best yet. When I finally had the chance to play in a set with her, she played amazing. I was setting and I made sure to give her as many sets as I could cause she was on her game at that moment, and it happened to be one where the head coach was watching. I was so happy to be apart of that moment with her, it was such a relief for her after. I knew she had been hard on herself to perform perfect, I was so happy she was finally finding her game again.

She was an amazing volleyball player, I was looking forward to seeing where she would go with either sport. She was truly talented and the best thing about her is you would never know how good until you saw her play because she had the most down to earth attitude. She was a great friend. I am blessed to have met her. Sending some love from Canada.

Seems like your here, everywhere because so many talk about you, and what you meant to them. I only knew you for a short time, and don't have lots of great stories or funny things you did! I do know that I could feel your energy and your strength...and I knew you were a real person...not fake, but real! So I find myself asking why? I can't even think of how those who knew you for so long are coping...Because my heart is hurting and missing someone I've only known for a short time...but was made to feel like a Life time... I will miss the "What-up Coach! and the grip of death!!

Alyssa Sialaris touched my life and always pushed me to live life to the fullest and to be happy about everything. Playing volleyball with her at De Anza was such an honor because she brought life and excitement to our team. Whether it was cracking jokes or playing our hardest in volleyball she touched the lives of those surrounding her. She was a beautiful person inside and out and God gained a beautiful and magnificent Angel. Forever in my heart.

I have mentioned this before, wherever she is, even if its only inside each of our own minds, we can be sure of one thing, she is throwing far there, and certainly getting down on the sand volleyball like she loved, she's on a good one, thats for darn sure, miss you Lyss...

Alyssa was by far my best friend. She was so kind, compassionate and caring, and she loved living life to the fullest. There was never a dull moment around her, unless she was falling asleep halfway through every movie we have ever watched together, with the exception of Hot Rod, because it was one of her favorites. She was an amazing athlete, a great intellectual, and one of the most inspiring persons I have ever had the honor of knowing. She may be gone, but will never be forgotten. I know in my darkest times, through all the pain and tears, she will be right here with me, guiding me through life as she had been while she was here with me on Earth. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I miss you so much, Lyssie Lyss. I love you bud. Show them how it's done up there.

Alyssa was such an amazing young woman. She had such a presence about her. Whenever Alyssa entered a room you knew it. There was such a light about her.
