Bill was a good friend. I worked with him in Probation, and we kept in touch after I left to work for the State of California. His knowledge of many subjects was extensive, and his humor was always appreciated. He was always willing to listen and was a good person to share ideas and thoughts with. Adios, "Wild Bill." I will miss you. Roger Watkins

I am sad to learn of Bill's demise. I worked with him at the Probation Department. Initially, I was intimidated by him, but came to know him as a friend and confidant. He was a man of wit, words and integrity. Over the years, he offered me advice, jokes and suggestions. My condolences to his family.

I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I worked with Bill for many years in the probation department as his supervisor. He was an intelligent, capable friend. We shared many experiences in life. We both were psychiatric technicians at Agnews State Hospital, both graduating with a degree in Psychology from SJSU, and lived in the same neighborhood.
My thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. We talked about the death of our old friend Fred Opulencia only months ago.
Bill, Jim and I hunted together at my place at Almanor and in Wyoming .
We worked together for 27 years at APD
Bill was nice enough to write a nice letter for son for his law school admission.
