Dear Mary - So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Both you and Bill were so kind to my mother in times of need. The first Christmas is always the hardest. May our Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ hold you in his arms during this time of reflection and mourning. May the Peace of our Lord be with you.Bret Sherlock(Cassie's son)

I was Bill's friend in Topeka. At that time 1955 - 1956 we were neighbors and both attended Highland Park HS in Topeka. I always thought his birthday was October 19 - the same as mine - we celebrated it together. I contacted Bill on our 65th birthday by phone after talking with a fraternity brother of mine, Bob Stevens, who had attended Columbia with Bill. I am sorry to hear of his passing and extend my condolences to his family. My passion is also fly fishing and I regret missing the opportunity to fish with Bill in Montana when he came to fish the Yellowstone River a few years ago.
