Conchita Pingel Obituary

Conchita "Connie" Marie Noble Pingel, 70, was born on Dec. 29, 1943, in Emmett, Idaho, to Harold Noble and Rosie Bilbao Noble. She attended Emmett schools, graduating in 1962.
Connie married Bill Pingel on June 14, 1963. She worked for First Security Bank and Walter Knox Memorial Hospital for a short time and for Boise Cascade Corporation for a total of 37 years in both Emmett and Boise, Idaho.
Connie's husband Bill (Billy) passed away in 1988 and Connie moved to Boise four years later. She lived there for 17 years. After both of her parents passed away, she moved back home to Emmett.
Upon retirement, she enjoyed traveling to places like Alaska, New England, Canada and the Netherlands and loved taking care of her yard. Connie continued what she and her parents valued most - giving back to the community.
She volunteered her time to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Emmett Crime Prevention Society and was also a devoted dog rescuer. Connie's mom Rosie used to say, "I want to come back as one of Conchie's dogs."
Connie's faith, friendships, and service to her community were truly an inspiration. Emmett will surely notice the loss of one of its most devoted citizens.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband Bill and her parents Harold and Rosie Noble, whom she lovingly cared for in their final years.
She is survived by her brother Ron Noble and his wife Pam; her nieces and nephew Teresa Noble (Randy French), Tina Noble (Dave Shuldes) and Todd Noble (Beth Vawter); numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins (Larrondo, Bilbao and Smith families), including Sandi McClary, who was like a sister.
Connie's extensive group of beloved and devoted neighbors and friends, including her "kids" (dogs Brody and Mindy), filled her life with love and laughter.
Connie's family will be forever grateful for the end-of-life care given by Margaret Giddeon, Marilyn Warren and Karole Foruria.
Connie was proud of her Basque Heritage - therefore, in lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Basque Museum. Contributions can also be made to the Sacred Heart Altar Society, Emmett Crime Prevention, any animal charity or the charity of your choice.
A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emmett. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday. July 29. 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Emmett Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel Emmett.

I am so glad Connie, my sister-in-law for many years, is now with her Creator and re-united with all of her loved ones in Heaven. Sympathies to her Noble family for their loss and thanks to Carol and Margret for the care they provided to her in her last days. Her Pingel nephew, Kelly, and niece, Shelli Bromley, also join me in extending their sympathy for their Aunt Connie's loss.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of my friend Connie. We have such wonderful memories from 1986 forward when we met at Boise Cascade. She was a very special, special person. We used to joke about who was going to be pushing who at the rest home we'd be in...she is now reunited with those she loved. I miss you Connie Girl.
