To Liz's Family and Friends, I am so sorry for your loss. It saddens me so much to just learn of Liz's passing. There is no other therapist as great as her. She really listened and prescribed what works always ended our sessions with big hugs. Even though I haven't seen her for some time now, she will truly be missed.

To Liz's family and friends.

I was so saddened to hear of her passing. She was my therapist for over 15 years. I only found out about her passing from a returned Valentine's card. I kept in touch with her and sent her cheer up cards. She and I both loved hearts. The poem below was written about Liz and our Wednesday sessions. I will miss her so much as a therapist and friend. What a beautiful picture of Liz.

Wednesdays At Six

It's my night to meet with Liz
To tell her bout my private biz
She mulls it over then tells me how it really is
You see it's her job
To listen to me cry and sob
Imagine that
She gets paid the listen to me

Most therapists say:

Having a little anxiety attack?
How about some nice Prozac
Or
Can't sleep, feeling lost and alone?
How about some nice Trazadone
Or
Manic Depressive? Feel like a Bum?
How about some nice Lithium

Not Liz
She gives appropriate drugs
Better yet she gives big hugs
Encourages me my thoughts to share
Teaches me to live again if I dare
To break free from loss and pain
Knowing from the truth I might gain

Oh, how I will miss our "talks" on Facebook. It was so great connecting with Betty Ann again after many years. I will miss her so much! Be at peace, dear Elizabeth. Rena Fisk
